The Scale Behind the Matching
Static swingweight and true MOI (moment of inertia) aren't the same measurement, which is the whole reason the bench exists.
The Equipment
A dedicated MOI scale swings each finished club through a fixed arc and reads the actual rotational resistance, rather than a static balance-point reading the way a swingweight scale does. Every club in a matched set is logged to the same MOI target, typically within five points, before it leaves the bench.
